Yes we do have numerous cases of HIV in Tasmania. Currently there are at least 120 people with HIV in Tasmania. These are predominantly gay or bisexual men but there are increasing numbers of females with HIV in Tasmania and also an increase in the number of younger guys recently under the age of 24 years old.
